We use very exclusive linen for crewel work. It is strongest of the vegetable fibres and has 2 to 3 times the strength of cotton. Not only is the linen fibre strong, it is smooth, making the finished fabric lint free.
Our linen fabrics have hop sack ground look and made of 8 to 10 lea yarn size. It is made on power loom.
